Nursing Home Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Nursing home
administrators manage the operations of a nursing home or assisted living
facility that cares for the elderly that are physically or mentally challenged
residents. They help elderly with taking medications, to showering them or
changing them into clothes. In order to be this you must be available in the
evening, weekends and holidays.
Salary:
$65,000-$90,000 or even $100,000
Education:
In order to become a
nursing home administrator you must have a bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree
are common as well. You also must be licensure and certified are required in
all states. Some skills needed are problem solving, communication skills,
ability to use medical software.
Reflection:
I would not like to be a nursing home administrator because
I don’t like to deal with old people; I just wouldn’t have the patients with
them. I prefer to be on a go job where you’re active walking around.
